Biologists and 3D Printing Assistants: May serve as a lab technician in the Bio Lab or 3D Printer Lab. Assist with science lectures or workshops..
Book Detailer: Assist library staff in maintaining and improving the physical condition of library materials.
Book Sales: Assist as a Friends’ Volunteer, with a good knowledge of books, to shelve, price and triage books.
Book Shelver: Assist library staff in shelving materials.
Children’s Arts/Crafts Coordinator: Assist library staff by researching new arts and crafts program ideas as well as assemble kits and assist Youth Services Librarian in classes.
Community Information Organizer: Assist library staff in maintaining community information "give-away" materials and posting community information on bulletin boards.
Computer Assistant - Public: Provide basic training and user assistance for public computer resources.
Display Coordinator: Assist library staff in identifying, scheduling and organizing exhibits from the community and other sources, including local art, crafts, cultural material.
Graphic Art Specialist: Assist library staff in creating and developing requested flyers, bookmarks, signage and promotional materials to publicize the library and its programs.
Green Thumb: Help maintain indoor potted plants.
Magazine Maintainer: Assist the library staff in maintaining the magazine collection in an orderly manner.
Materials Processor: Assist library staff in making new materials available to the public in a timely manner, including processing new books, magazines, etc..
Publicity Assistant: Assist librarian in promoting the library as a community resource, and providing awareness of special programs, events, collections and services.
Read-Aloud Substitutes: Be “On Call” on Thursdays for 10:30 a.m. story time for children and families in the event Youth Services Librarian is not available.
