The Friends of the La Jolla Branch Library is on a mission. We are a group of volunteer community members with the specific purpose of assisting and supporting our local library.

 

With the Friends support, our local library can offer an abundance of programming and resources. We invite you to explore this website and check out the calendar to see all that’s going on, such as classes for learners of all ages and interests, or story time readings to enchant the little ones, as well as art exhibitions that grace the walls of the Community Room.

 

We have an extensive collection of Express Books and other materials available for checkout at your convenience. Digitize family photos, slides and videos in the Memory Lab. Delve into La Jolla’s past in the History Room. Learn how to 3-D print, perform science experiments or edit videos and more in the Idea Lab.

 

Come shop at the Friends Bookstore for books from children’s literature to adult classics to recent bestsellers. We have cookbooks, art and travel books, puzzles, DVDs and much more!
